Luke 14:11 "...he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Jesus loves humble Christians. It's not complicated. It's simple. When parents were bringing their children to be blessed by Jesus, His disciples did not want to be bothered. Jesus scolded them for their superior attitude and told them that children are the best example of simple trust and faith (Mark 10:13-16). Jesus says, "Learn from me, for I am humble and gentle in heart" (Matthew 11:29). How can we be haughty or arrogant when we remember Christ's humiliation?

He left the glory and power of heaven and became a human being like us, so that He could die on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.

To believe that, and know that Christ is our Lord and Savior, is not complicated. It is simply to accept His love with simple, childlike faith. What a blessing!
