Revelation 22:4-5 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of the lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.

In our daily lives, filled with pressure and frustration, we often don't see God as He really is. We tend to push Him aside, too busy to focus on His holiness.

These verses give us a sense of the greatness of the Lord. When we recognize how great God is, we realize how we could never enter His presence if not for what Jesus did for us. We who were unclean and impure have received forgiveness. We have been given the ability to see the Lord in all of His holiness and power. We have been given the honor of being called heirs of the King, able to be in His presence forever and evermore.
